The Delhi government launched a web portal for parents to register their complaints against errant private schools at a single platform.
Deputy principal minister, Manish Sisodia, said that people will now be able to register their complaints against private schools on problems such every bit fee hike and the lack of uniforms and books for students from economically weaker sections of society, among other things, at www.doepvt.delhi.gov.in.
"Earlier, people had to complain at 10 different places. For the convenience of the common man, we have introduced this single window complaint organization. The authorities volition closely monitor the complaints and fix the responsibility of officers concerned if there is whatsoever delay on his or her part in resolving complaints," said Sisodia.
He bodacious that in 15 days, grievances will exist resolved by district education officers concerned. The link to the portal volition also be available on the DOE website, at www.edudel.nic.in.

The complainant can also track the status of his/her complaint on the website later, and can also update details, requite additional data and upload supporting documents through the website.

A senior official explained that a list of all recognised unaided private schools with locality proper noun will exist made available on the portal. "After registration of the complaint, the complainant will receive an SMS on their registered mobile number, having a unique grievance ID. The complaint will automatically exist forwarded to deputy managing director education (commune) concerned," she said.
She also said that citizens would have the opportunity to requite feedback on the process, in one case the grievance has been disposed. "Based on the feedback, we (higher officials) can cull to reopen the grievance," she said.
